On boarding has many clear benefits. It brings attention to what needs to be in place for an appointment to be successful and delivers effective performance without the typical lengthy bedding in period. It makes effective use of time in between jobs to accelerate the individual’s ability to “hit the ground running” and focuses the  individual on the outcomes of their new role from the start. It is a genuine value added step in bringing effective talent into the company.
